War in Europe

February 24th 2022 saw the unthinkable: the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces. What followed quickly turned into a nightmare that few could have predicted.

Accurate figures are difficult to find, but US intelligence estimates as many as 500,000 killed and wounded. With no end to the war in sight, help is desperately needed.

War in Ukraine

Making a difference

With our extensive network of partners and people on the ground, we know exactly what the people of Ukraine need. And where they need it.

We can source it, transport it and deliver it. As quickly and efficiently as possible.

Volunteers for UkraineRelief

260+ generators

Attacking the electricity network means taking away heat, light, refrigeration, communications, medical equipment, the internet, the ability to charge mobile devices, cooking abilities and above all, hope. Since the start of the war, Ukraine Relief has sent more than 260 generators - three of them industrial-sized for hospitals.

Sending aid to Ukraine - with love

50+ volunteers

Our volunteers are the life-blood of our organisation. All freely give up their time to receive, unpack, assess, check, categorise and forward the aid and items that are donated each day.

Without them, we wouldn’t be able to have achieved a fraction of what we’ve done so far. We can’t thank them enough.

Ukraine Relief volunteers - we couldn't do it without them.

4,500 tonnes of aid

As an independent charity, we have one purpose. To help the people of Ukraine. Our structure gives us a unique advantage - that we can quickly respond to events as they occur. We are extremely agile and effective, with administration overheads kept below 3% of the value of aid delivered.

Aid to Ukraine - more than 4,000 tons of it

Whatever is needed

1,500 wheelchairs and walking frames, 1,000 mattresses, 150 medical beds, 10,000 duvets, £150,000 worth of fire-fighting equipment, 300,000 water purification tablets, £300,000 worth of studio equipment. As the needs arise, our team swings into action and deliver. Quickly. Efficiently.

Help Ukraine - we send whatever is needed

Aid with urgency

We have the logistical infrastructure to deliver aid to where it’s needed in Ukraine within four weeks.

Aid with integrity

We are a UK-registered charity, regulated by the Charity Commission. We track and verify the delivery of all aid.

Aid with impact

Our reach extends far beyond Kyiv. We distribute aid throughout Ukraine, to Dnipro and beyond.

No bureaucracy

There’s no time to waste. We are independent, agile and volunteer-based. We get the aid out where it’s needed.

Initiatives

  • We provide vital supplies to schools across Ukraine, ensuring they remain safe, educational environments for local children.

  • We source and deliver essential life-saving equipment, including medical devices such as defibrilators and scanners, specialist beds, and equipment for those suffering permanent disabilities.

  • Developing health, showing love, bringing hope through sports, arts and games.

  • Through the Bags of Love campaign, we have delivered happiness and hope to the children of Ukraine, with bags packed with toys, art supplies and other gifts.

  • We help Ukrainian people survive when their local infrastructure has been destroyed. We deliver generators to domestic, commercial and public facilities.

  • We support the children and young adults of the Dnipropetrovsk Boarding house, an orphanage for over 200 residents with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, providing essential supplies, equipment and food.

  • We provide essential supplies to people living in refugee centres in Ukraine, with food, clothing and medical items being delivered to those most in need.
